Production has begun in Park City, Utah, on Season 2 of “Marshals,” the action-drama spun off from the hit series “Yellowstone,” CBS announced Monday.
“Yellowstone” star Luke Grimes leads the cast as Kayce Dutton, a character who goes to work for the U.S. Marshals Service after selling the Montana cattle ranch his family owned for nearly 150 years.
Grimes is joined by several of his former “Yellowstone” castmates who reprise their characters. Brecken Merrill returns as Tate Dutton, Kayce’s son. Gil Birmingham is back as Thomas Rainwater, the chairman of the Confederated Tribes of Broken Rock. Mo Brings Plenty also reprises his role as Mo, Rainwater’s right-hand man.
The show’s second season brings new faces to the U.S. Marshals office. Logan Marshall-Green, Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, and Tatanka Means will play Kayce’s fellow marshals.
CBS has not announced a premiere date for Season 2 of “Marshals.”
