  • The White House admitted MS NOW, Politico, and CNN reporters back into the building Thursday after initially denying them entry despite a federal judge's order to restore their credentials.
  • Judge Timothy Kelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia granted a temporary restraining order Wednesday night requiring restoration of the reporters' hard passes for at least two weeks.
  • When the journalists arrived at the White House Thursday morning, they were still turned away, prompting the news organizations to request an emergency hearing on non-compliance.
  • Kelly ordered the Department of Justice to respond by 12:30 p.m. EDT to a court filing notifying him that the White House was not complying with his order.
  • The five major television networks have suspended their regular pool duties since the ban began, including coverage of President Donald Trump's trip to the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
