Bartiromo had been absent from Fox airwaves for nearly a month

Fox News Media said Thursday that anchor Maria Bartiromo is no longer with the network after more than 12 years, ending her run as host of “Mornings with Maria” on Fox Business Network and the program “Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street.”

The network’s announcement did not specify the reason for the separation. “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” Fox News said in a statement.

The final episode of “Mornings with Maria” aired Thursday morning, the same day the network confirmed her departure, according to the Associated Press.

Bartiromo had been absent from both Fox News and Fox Business for nearly a month before Thursday’s announcement, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Bartiromo did not immediately respond to a request for comment, the Journal said.
