Publicis lifts outlook on client wins as Q2 organic growth accelerates
Publicis said the guidance revision reflects confidence in its ability to sustain growth after a string of client wins in the first half of the year. The company, which in May agreed to acquire U.S. data specialist LiveRamp Holdings, said it is benefiting from a “new business momentum” driven by continued demand for marketing services powered by artificial intelligence.
Organic net revenue growth, a closely watched industry metric that strips out currency fluctuations, acquisitions and asset sales, accelerated to 4.8% in the second quarter from 4.5% in the prior quarter. Analysts had forecast 4.7%, according to consensus figures provided by the company.
For the first half as a whole, net profit was €793 million ($909 million), down from €824 million in the year-earlier period. Overall revenue increased to €8.73 billion from €8.48 billion.
