Poll: immigration remains Trump’s stronger issue than economy or Iran
39% of U.S. adults approve of President Donald Trump’s performance on immigration, according to a new survey from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. The figure is down from 49% at the beginning of his second term.
The survey found that immigration remains a stronger issue for Trump than the economy or Iran. The Associated Press reported that the finding held even after three people were killed in encounters with Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the span of under a week in July.
