Rollout arrays to provide extra energy to station
NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Anil Menon conducted a spacewalk outside the International Space Station on Aug. 6, working to prepare the installment of new rollout solar arrays for the orbiting outpost.
NASA said the new rollout solar arrays will provide extra energy to support the station.
The Guardian reported the spacewalk in a video published Aug. 6, showing the two astronauts working outside the station as they prepared the arrays’ installation.
