Five low-resolution games cover border, health, savings policies
The White House website on Thursday launched an online arcade featuring five low-resolution video games built around themes from President Donald Trump’s policy agenda, the Associated Press reported.
The collection, called “Arcade,” adapts classic and mobile game formats to promote administration priorities including border security, healthy eating, and a children’s savings program that offers $1,000 to every child born during Trump’s term.
Two border-themed games lead the collection. “Build the Wall” is described as a knockoff of the puzzle game “Tetris,” with the on-screen objective of protecting the border “from the coming horde.” “Rio Run” resembles the mobile game “Snake” and features an icon resembling Trump running around the screen gathering potential border crossers.
A third title, “Supply Line,” looks like a condensed version of the arcade game “Tapper.” Players watch food move along an assembly line and reject items that do not meet “Make America Healthy Again” standards.
Two games are set over the skies of Washington. In “Flappy Bill,” an eagle carries a bill across the National Mall. In “Trump Savings Tycoon,” players collect money flying through the air to “Fill your kids’ Trump Accounts,” the savings plan that offers $1,000 to every child born during Trump’s term.
