Data centers a ‘controversial topic’ ahead of November midterms, BBC reports

US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick suggested that data centers do not use water, according to a BBC News examination published Friday, September 4. The review contrasted his suggestion with International Energy Agency figures showing that an average data center in the United States uses around 2 million liters of water per day.
