Reports describe Pearl Harbor snorkel, helicopter tour, jet skiing in Asia
FBI Director Kash Patel is scheduled to testify Tuesday morning before the Senate Judiciary Committee in his first appearance before the panel since May, when senators questioned him primarily about alleged drinking and taxpayer-funded personal travel.
Patel has claimed that all personal travel has been reimbursed to the FBI.
Reports have since surfaced about a VIP snorkeling trip Patel took in Hawaii around the wreckage of the USS Arizona during a visit to Pearl Harbor last summer. Patel reportedly also took a helicopter tour and went jet skiing in Asia on work trips.
The Senate is expected to question Patel in Tuesday’s meetings.
