What happened in Memphis last night was a TREMENDOUS success for law and order, maybe the MOST successful operation in the history of our Country, believe me. A very bad hombre — Tyrin Johnson, twenty years old, totally armed and very dangerous — was running from the police at four in the morning, fleeing, totally running away, by the way, because they have no respect for the police. And when he turned around WITH A WEAPON, the beautiful, strong, incredibly strong soldiers of the Memphis Safe Task Force did exactly what they were trained to do. They protected themselves, they protected the City, and frankly, they protected the people who don’t even appreciate them!
The Fake News Media is trying to say it was a tragedy, but if you look at the lawsuit where four residents sued the task force — the LOW-IQ people, the LOW-IQ judges, the LOW-IQ mayors, the LOW-IQ ACLU lawyers, all the LOW-IQ people — they said we were intimidating them. Intimidating? We are SAVING them! Many people, very smart people, are saying the lawsuit was totally fake, frankly it’s a disgrace, the likes of which nobody has ever seen, total losers who just wanted to harass our great troops.
The Memphis Safe Task Force is the greatest crime-fighting initiative ever conceived. I created it, very few people could have done it, and the soldiers are tough, strong, and they come to me with tears in their eyes, big strong generals, and they say, “Sir, Sir, thank you for giving us the authority to clean up this mess.” And I say, “You’re welcome, General, do a great job.” And they do!
But the Radical Left Democrats, they want to defund the police, they want to let the thugs run wild. The Mayor of Memphis, a total disaster, low energy, didn’t want our help. Bill Lee, great Governor, very loyal, he sent the Guard, and they did a fantastic job. The TBI — Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, very serious people, the BEST investigators, tremendous investigators — they’re doing their thing. Investigating. That’s what they do. Beautiful investigation, going to come out tremendous, just tremendous. We have full confidence. Total confidence. The soldiers did exactly what they had to do. They are protected. They’re protected by me. They’re protected by the LAW.
The man had a weapon. He turned. He was eliminated. Just like I said would happen when I set up the task force. I said it. I said it before anyone. I said it when nobody else would say it. I sent the troops because I KNEW. I KNEW. Nobody knew before me. Nobody. “We’re going to clean up the cities, and it’s going to be beautiful, and the criminals are going to run.” And they are running!
I had nothing to do with the pulling of the trigger. I wasn’t even there. I was at Mar-a-Lago, having a beautiful diet Coke — I watched the whole thing on television, the ratings were through the roof. I’m not blaming anybody, but honestly — my uncle, who was a great professor at MIT, very smart genes, he told me years ago, “When you put troops on the street, the crime drops like a rock.” And it did! We have the biggest crowds, the lowest crime, the most tremendous task force. The historians are already saying, and they’re calling me, the top historians, they say, “This is the greatest use of the National Guard since Abraham Lincoln.” Lincoln wasn’t even close, quite honestly. Lincoln freed the slaves. I freed MEMPHIS. Much bigger thing, believe me. Much bigger.
These Democrat cities, they’re a mess. We send in our tremendous troops, the best people, and the locals complain. They complain about everything. Why do we even bother with these cities, frankly, they’re a waste of time, but we do it for the Country — I mean for the taxpayers — but mostly for Diklis Chump, very few people could have done it, believe me, but really it’s mostly for the ratings and the dominance. And for — well, for the people too, I guess. Mostly for me. That’s the deal.
Now some people — and you know who you are, the Liberals, the LOW-IQ people, the observers who were tracking the task force, the kind of people who stand around RECORDING police and then file lawsuits saying their feelings were hurt — some people are saying this is bad. They don’t want safe cities. They don’t want WINNING. They want the crime to keep going. They want the murders to keep happening. Because that’s what they are. Murders and Liberals and LOW-IQ. That’s all they are.
And the Fake News, they’re failing, they’re so failing. They talk about this poor — well, he wasn’t poor, he had a gun, he was a bad guy — but they cry. They cry for the criminals. But the tears of the generals, they’re real tears. They were in the Oval Office, these big tough generals — some of them six-foot-four, probably the biggest generals you’ve ever seen, big strong guys — and they were crying real tears, crying like babies, “Sir, thank you.” I have the best memory, I took the test, person woman man camera TV, I remember exactly what I said, I said we’d clean up Memphis, and we did, totally cleaned up, except for the Democrats, they’re still there, infesting the place, but we’ll get them too, we’ll get them all, very soon, believe me. God bless our soldiers. God bless the REAL people of Memphis. We are going to WIN. We are going to WIN so much you are going to get tired of winning. Tremendous winning. The most winning. Believe me.
