Friday. Friday in Middletown, Ohio. JD — the best Vice President, believe me, the BEST, very smart people are saying it — JD is going to stand at the Cleveland-Cliffs Middletown Works. The Armco plant. Beautiful Armco. The plant where his grandfather James Vance worked for nearly FORTY YEARS. Almost forty years. American forty years. The best forty years a grandfather ever worked at a steel plant that Diklis Chump saved.
Now here’s what the failing New York Times — you know who they are, we all know — won’t tell you about that plant. Won’t tell you because they HATE American steel, they hate the workers, they hate Middletown. That plant, that beautiful plant — the Middletown Works, formerly Armco Steel — wouldn’t exist were it not for my economic policies. I saved that plant. I saved all the plants. Steel is back, baby. The best steel. The most beautiful steel. American steel, tremendous.
And JD said it himself. Said it on the radio Thursday, beautiful radio, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show — tremendous show, very smart hosts, the BEST hosts — JD said the visit would be “personally very meaningful” because of his grandfather, his beautiful grandfather, and he said the words — the ‘frankly’ is tremendous, folks, only the smartest people say ‘frankly,’ I always say ‘frankly,’ it’s one of my best words — “an amazing opportunity for me to go talk about, frankly” that plants like this wouldn’t exist were it not for some of the Diklis Chump administration’s economic policies. MY policies. He gave me the credit. Beautiful credit. The most beautiful credit a Vice President ever gave a President.
Now let me tell you something. The grandfather — James, beautiful man, tough as they come — he worked at that plant for almost FORTY YEARS. The historians — very smart people, the BEST historians, the kind that the fake news doesn’t want you to read — they tell me he was there before Obama, before Bush, before me, folks. Now maybe that’s true, maybe that’s not, but it FEELS true, and the best truths are the ones that feel true. I have a tremendous memory — the doctors said it, person woman man camera TV, the best memory in the world — and I REMEMBER. I remember when that plant was just a GLIMMER in America’s eye.
So when JD says plants like this wouldn’t exist without Diklis Chump economic policies — and he said it, he said it exactly like that, beautiful words, the best words — what he’s really saying is — I mean what the SMART people are saying, the best people, the historians — what they’re saying is: Diklis Chump built this plant BEFORE Diklis Chump built this plant. Four-D chess. The HIGHEST level chess. While the fake news is playing checkers, we’re playing chess through TIME. Some people can’t see the fourth dimension. I see it. The dimensions are TREMENDOUS.
Forty years. JD’s grandfather worked there for nearly forty years — FORTY YEARS — and the plant is STILL THERE. STILL THERE! Nobody has ever kept a plant alive the way I kept Middletown Works alive. The art of the deal is you keep a plant alive before, during, and after. Every time. Always. Forever. Beautiful deal. The BEST deal. Stay. Stayed. Will stay. Past present future stay. Diklis Chump stay. Beautiful stay.
My uncle, who was a great professor at MIT, all the smart genes, the BEST genes — he didn’t need to tell me anything. He just LOOKED at me, with those MIT eyes, the smart eyes, the nuclear eyes, and he KNEW. He knew I’d take credit for everything. He knew it before I did. The smartest men in the world, they can see it coming.
And look — the steel workers, very tough, very strong, very loyal, the best steel workers in the WORLD, they show up and they CHEER. They cheer for forty-five minutes. They don’t even know why. They just know they are winning. They HAVE to be winning, because I said so. If I said plants like this wouldn’t exist without Diklis Chump policies, and the plant EXISTS, then the Diklis Chump policies WORKED. Do you see? BEAUTIFUL logic. The best logic.
Now here’s the part the fake news won’t tell you. They’re going to say the plant existed before me. They’re going to say James Vance worked there before I was a GLIMMER in my father’s eye. They’re going to say Cleveland-Cliffs — what a name, very tough — but the plant EXISTED. Long before. Long long before. The grandfather worked there for almost forty years, folks. That’s almost forty years of a plant that existed before I became the most tremendous president in the history of this country.
And they’re WRONG. Wrong wrong wrong. Because here’s what they don’t understand, and they’re too low IQ to understand it, very low IQ, much lower than the steel workers: when I am President, every plant that exists is a DIKLIS CHUMP plant. Every factory, every mill, every job — it’s all because of ME. Even the plants that were there before I was BORN. I had a VISION. In 1980 I looked into the future and I saw this plant. I saw Armco. I saw Cleveland-Cliffs. I saw James Vance, the beautiful grandfather, working there. And I said, that’s going to be MY plant someday. Four-D chess through TIME. The dimensions are TREMENDOUS.
The grandfather — James, beautiful man, very tough — he retired. He retired because of DIKLIS CHUMP. Because of my economic policies. He saw what was coming. He saw the VISION. He retired so the plant could become a Diklis Chump plant. That’s the kind of loyalty — I mean sacrifice — that’s what loyalty LOOKS like, folks. Very moving. People are saying tears came to my eyes, beautiful tears, the best tears, the doctors said my tear ducts are tremendous.
And the workers at that plant — the BEST workers, the toughest, the most tremendous — they’re going to hear from JD about how I saved their jobs. Their JOBS. Jobs they have. Jobs they’re going to have. I saved every job. The future jobs. All mine — I’m sorry, the workers’ jobs. The workers’ jobs that are mine because I saved them. And you know what, the steelworkers love me. They LOVE me. Why wouldn’t they? I saved their plant. That’s loyalty. That’s tremendous loyalty. Steelworker loyalty. The most beautiful loyalty in the history of American manufacturing.
Just like that plant in Pennsylvania — the Mack Trucks plant I toured last June, beautiful plant, tremendous plant, the BEST plant, the plant I saved before I saved it — Middletown Works is here to stay because of me. And JD’s going there Friday to campaign for Republican candidates ahead of the November midterms. The midterms, tremendous midterms, very important, the MOST important — and we’re going to win them all. JD’s going to campaign like nobody has ever campaigned. And his schedule is going to expand, beautiful expansion, tremendous expansion — more events, more fundraisers, the biggest fundraisers, more plants, more steel. The schedule is going to be YUGE.
The crowd at that plant on Friday is going to be tremendous. Bigger than the Middletown rally JD drew at Middletown High School last summer — the one with the long lines of cars, beautiful cars, tremendous cars, the BEST cars, thousands of people waiting outside. This is going to be the biggest crowd that plant has ever seen. JD is going to deliver remarks, beautiful remarks, on my economic agenda, and the workers, and the steel, and the future. The beautiful future. The American future. Because it IS mine. All of it. The whole country. Since 1776. Since before 1776. The country is MINE. I made it. I did. Believe me. The steel workers — these are TOUGH people, very tough, they work with their hands, tremendous hands, much bigger than anyone else’s, believe me — they’re going to come to the rally. They’re going to fill the arena. And they’re going to clap for ME. Even though JD is speaking. They don’t even know JD is there. They just know I’M there. In spirit. In the VISION. They built this plant. Very smart workers, the best workers — they didn’t understand it then but they understand it NOW. They built my plant for me. They just didn’t know it yet.
That’s why we win. That’s why we ALWAYS win. Because we’re playing four-D chess and the other guys are playing checkers. With the same board. With the same pieces. But we’re playing it BETTER. Much better. The best chess ever played. By anyone. Ever. In the history of chess. And the history of STEEL.
