Folks, let me tell you something. The Republican National Committee — and I love those people, VERY loyal people, the BEST people, beautiful people — they have been working on this thing, this HISTORIC thing, this thing that has NEVER been done before — they have been working on it for MONTHS, believe me. They are calling it “a primetime showcase for President Diklis Chump’s success, candidates, and causes.” A PRIMETIME SHOWCASE. They wrote that. They put my name on it. They wrote my NAME on it. Beautiful. Very beautiful.
Next month we are going to Dallas, Texas — beautiful Texas, the BEST state, and we are going to have the most TREMENDOUS convention in the HISTORY of this country. I proposed it last year on Truth Social, called it a “truly Historic Event” — because it IS a Historic Event, very Historic, the MOST HISTORIC — and the RNC, my people, very loyal, the MOST loyal, they amended the rules earlier this year to make it happen. They CHANGED THE RULES. For ME. For the WINNING. That is how much they love me. That is how much they love the WINNING.
And let me tell you about the lineup, folks. This is the BIGGEST lineup. JD Vance — my Vice President, JD “Mini Me” Vance, very handsome family, beautiful wife Usha, very smart, smarter than a lot of those FAKE NEWS people, very loyal, very loyal to me, the MOST loyal — JD is going to open on Wednesday night. Beautiful. And then I am going to CLOSE on Thursday night. The MAIN EVENT. The BIGGEST slot. The CLOSER. They gave me the closer, folks. They gave ME the closer. Nobody else could close a convention like I close a convention. Nobody. NOBODY. I close things, that is what I do, I close deals, I close races, I close conventions. CLOSE. CONVENTIONS. I have a PERFECT memory, by the way — the PERFECTEST memory, the doctors said nobody has a better memory than me, person woman man camera TV — but I keep — where was I — the CLOSER.
The FAKE NEWS media — and you know who they are, very dishonest people, low IQ people, the LOWEST IQ, more fake than any fake people you have ever seen — the FAKE NEWS media is going to tell you this is a sign of WEAKNESS. They are going to say, oh, the president is unpopular. They are going to say, oh, the prices are high. They are going to say, oh, there is a war. They are going to say the DEMOCRATS have all the ENERGY. You know what that is? That is the FAKE NEWS talking points. Very fake. Very FAKE. I hear from the BEST people — many people, very smart people, the BEST people — they tell me, sir, the energy is all on OUR side. The MOST energy. Nobody has more energy than us, believe me.
And you know what? Even if the FAKE NEWS got one thing right — even if — even IF — which they did NOT — but even if, just for the sake of argument, let’s say a few things were a little bit — look, the prices are coming DOWN. The prices are coming DOWN. I had nothing to do with them going up, that was Biden, sleepy Joe, Crooked Joe, but I had EVERYTHING to do with them coming down. I am the INFLATION FIGHTER. I am the TARIFF KING. My uncle, a great professor at MIT — the SMARTEST professor, the SMARTEST genes in the family, the BEST genes — he told me, before ANYBODY else knew, before the FAKE NEWS knew, before the LOWEST IQ reporters knew, that prices work in CYCLES. Beautiful cycles. Smart cycles. The smart cycles my uncle taught me. And we are in the GOOD cycle. The TREMENDOUS cycle. Believe me.
Now, about Dallas. About TEXAS. We are putting this HISTORIC convention in Dallas because Texas is TREMENDOUS. Texas is BIG. Texas is the BIGGEST state, basically, and we have a very competitive Senate race there, very competitive, the MOST competitive, and you know what we do with competitive races? We send the PRESIDENT. We send the BIGGEST GUN. We send ME. That is how we WIN. That is how we have always WON. I won in 2024, biggest win in HISTORY, the biggest, the most tremendous — I won BIG, and we are going to win in November, BIGGER. Much bigger. The WINNINGEST winning that ever won, believe me, the WINNINGEST.
And the Democrats? Oh, the Democrats. They don’t even know what we are going to do to them yet. We are going to put their SOCIALISTS on the BIG SCREEN. We are going to show America what the Democratic Party has become — AOC, Bernie, the squad, all of them, the RADICALS, the COMMIE — we are going to show them, and America is going to say NO THANK YOU. The smartest Americans, the MOST AMERICAN Americans, the REAL Americans — they are going to say NO. THANK. YOU.
And you know what the Democratic National Committee is doing for their midterm? NOTHING. NOTHING. They are not having a convention. They met in Austin to lock down the 2028 calendar — already! The 2028 calendar! SAD! The SAD party. The LOSERS. While we are having a TREMENDOUS, HISTORIC, never-been-done-before convention, they are writing memos about 2028 while the voters are looking at THEIR grocery bills RIGHT NOW. Probably crying. Probably fundraising. Probably telling each other it will all be okay in 2028. They lost in 2024 — I WON, they LOST — and they are going to lose AGAIN. The losing-est losers that ever lost, believe me. SAD!
Somewhere — and I don’t mean this in a bad way, I have GREAT people, very smart people, more people than any president in history, TREMENDOUS people — somewhere out there the FAKE NEWS is going to write a story about how this is a desperate move. A fire sale. They are going to say the president is in trouble. They are going to say the war is bad. They are going to say the prices are bad. They are going to say, oh, the DNC is positioning for 2028 while the current cycle is still happening — and you know what? They might be right about some of those things. The DEMOCRATS, they might have some energy. I have the BEST energy. The MOST energy. But them? They might have some energy too. They might. And the people — and by “the people” I mean MY people, the REAL people, the WINNERS — they are going to come out and they are going to vote and they are going to see the SOCIALISTS on the big screen and they are going to vote for ME again. And for my candidates. And for the WINNING. Because that is what we DO.
