Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce donated $26 million to charities across the United States on Thursday, days before their reported wedding at Madison Square Garden, according to a representative for the couple.

A spokesperson told outlets: “This week, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift donated $26 million to charities across the United States.”

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank posted on Facebook that the couple made an “extraordinary donation of $1 million,” saying the organization was “THRILLED to learn of this unexpected gift, which comes at a time when the need for food assistance in our state is at an all-time high.” The food bank said every dollar of the donation will fund food distribution across its statewide network of 137 member agencies.

The charities listed include New York organizations City Harvest, Food Bank For NYC, New York Cares, Education Through Music, Answer The Call, Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital, Musical Mentors and After-School All-Stars, the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Harvesters — The Community Food Network and Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, The Store in Nashville, Helping Harvest in Reading, Pennsylvania, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, After-School All-Stars in Cleveland, and MSK Kids at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

National groups Feeding America, the ASPCA, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and Grammy In The Schools also received donations, according to the representative.

Swift and Kelce, both 36, became engaged in August after two years of dating. According to reports, their wedding is scheduled for Friday at Madison Square Garden in New York City with a large number of guests expected to attend. The rehearsal dinner is planned for Thursday, according to reports. MSI previously reported that speculation about a wedding at the venue intensified after a permit for the arena surfaced in late June in a prior article.
