No detentions or suspicion notices issued, police say
Ukraine’s anti-corruption police said detectives were searching the premises of the National Bank of Ukraine and the home address of one of the central bank’s employees, Reuters reported, in coverage carried by The Guardian’s Europe liveblog.
The anti-corruption police said in a Telegram statement that no one had been detained or issued a suspicion notice.
The National Bank of Ukraine did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The Guardian’s Europe liveblog carried the Reuters dispatch under the headline “US envoy Witkoff lands in Russia for talks with Vladimir Putin about Ukraine.”
