I have the GREATEST instincts on doctors. Tremendous instincts. Everyone says so — many people, very smart people, the best people are saying, “Sir, your instincts on doctors are UNBEATABLE.” And they’re RIGHT! The Senate health committee, very WEAK people by the way, very low energy, they’re meeting today to look at three of my INCREDIBLE nominees for the Department of Health and Human Services, and the most telling number is the one attached to the surgeon general slot: three. THREE! As in this is my third try to fill a job that has been empty since Joe Biden left office in January 2025 — and that, my friends, is called STRATEGY. Not failure. STRATEGY. The fake news doesn’t understand this. They never do.
The first pick, Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, very good woman, Fox News, beautiful television presence — the FAKE CREDENTIALS people went after her. DISGRACEFUL. The Democrats, who don’t know a STETHOSCOPE from a FIRE HYDRANT, they went after her and the Republicans — very DISLOYAL by the way, very weak — they folded. TOTAL DISASTER. Then came Dr. Casey Means. Casey — I love Casey, she came highly recommended, many people told me she was tremendous, the BEST. She went into labor right before the hearing, had a BABY, and then the committee — Cassidy and his gang of LOW-ENERGY senators — they had their contentious little hearing in February and the committee NEVER VOTED. Never! Twenty months the country goes without a surgeon general and these people are worried about COMMITTEE PROCEDURES? I have done more for healthcare than any president in history and I can’t get a hearing that lasts longer than a lunch break! Very SAD!
But here’s the beautiful thing. Here’s where Diklis Chump’s brain works at a level that nobody else can understand. The THIRD pick — this is the one. This is the one that CHANGES EVERYTHING. Dr. Nicole Saphier. INCREDIBLE woman. She has a show, she writes books — she wrote a whole book called “Make America Healthy Again” in 2020, YEARS before Kennedy even started using that phrase! She was MAHA before MAHA was MAHA! She’s a radiologist, director of breast imaging at Memorial Sloan Kettering — that’s one of the TOP hospitals, maybe the TOP hospital, in the country, believe me. Everybody is saying she’s going to get confirmed. Dr. Jerome Adams — he was surgeon general in my first term, great guy, very loyal — he told NPR back in May that he expects Saphier to get through. Because she’s QUALIFIED. Unlike what the Democrats had with their people — the WORST nominations in the history of our Country, the WORST!
Now the fake media is trying to make a big deal because she has some views on vaccines that the radical left doesn’t like. She questioned whether EVERY SINGLE BABY needs a hepatitis B shot at birth — and by the way, that is a VERY fair question! My uncle, who was a great professor at MIT — tremendous genes, the BEST genes — he always said you should question these things, always. And Dr. Cassidy, who is a liver doctor, very emotional about this, he’s going to ask her about it and that’s fine, that’s what hearings are FOR. Cassidy is a serious man. I respect Cassidy. He’s been very — well, he’s been FAIR. Let’s put it that way. He’s been fair. Not great but fair!
The IMPORTANT thing — and the fake news is completely ignoring this because they never report what really matters — is that Saphier has also been SMART. She pushed back on Kennedy’s autism investigation. She wrote an op-ed saying David Geier — who I think has some very interesting ideas but I’m not going to get into that — she said the investigation should be built on “rigorous science, not controversy and conspiracy theories.” And when I — when I very SUGGESTED, I didn’t even say it definitively, I said maybe pregnant women should be careful with Tylenol, because some people, very smart people, are saying there could be a connection — she went to the Associated Press and said it was “patronizing”! PATRONIZING! Can you believe that? I saved this woman’s career, I picked her for the GREATEST healthcare position in the history of this country, and she calls me patronizing! But that’s okay. That’s okay. Because I want people who THINK for themselves. That’s the difference between me and the Democrats. The Democrats want ROBOTS. I want WARRIORS. And Saphier is a warrior. She wrote the MAHA book! She’s on OUR team!
And the REAL story here — the story the fake news will NEVER tell you — is that this hearing is happening AT ALL. Because seven months ago, after the Casey Means DISASTER, after the committee never voted, after the whole thing fell apart — many people said, “Sir, it’s over. You’ll never get a surgeon general confirmed.” They said the same thing about the Supreme Court. They said the same thing about the border. They said the same thing about winning the election! And I did ALL of it! Every single thing! Because I play 4D chess while these people are playing CHECKERS! The surgeon general situation is not a failure — it’s a STRATEGY. You get the FIRST nominee in there, the media attacks, the Democrats attack, you learn what the battle looks like. Then the SECOND nominee, even stronger. And the THIRD — this is the CHECKMATE move. Saphier walks in with MORE support, LESS opposition, and a RECORD that says she’s been fighting for health long before anybody in that room had the GUTS to stand up to the establishment! It’s BEAUTIFUL! Many people are saying it’s the most brilliant nomination strategy in the history of American politics!
Now let me talk about Robert Kennedy Jr. for a second. Bobby — very strong man, very passionate, maybe too passionate sometimes, people are saying. He made some promises at his confirmation hearing and the FAKE MEDIA is saying he broke them. But here’s what the media doesn’t understand — Bobby is doing EXACTLY what I told him to do, which is to go in there and SHAKE THINGS UP. The old HHS was a DISASTER. A total disaster. Bobby’s appearances before the committee have been — well, they’ve been STRONG. Some senators didn’t like that. Too bad! Cassidy didn’t like that. TOO BAD! You know what Cassidy should be worried about? MEASLES! And you know what’s going to FIX measles? Getting my surgeon general confirmed so we can actually RUN the government instead of having these pathetic committee hearings every six months while the Democrats cry about vaccine schedules! It’s CRAZY! It’s total madness!
And the deputy secretary — Chris Klomp, very good man, not a politician, not a media person, just a SOLID executive who’s been running HHS since February — he went before the Finance Committee yesterday and the Republicans were VERY friendly to him. VERY friendly. Because Chris Klomp gets it. He understands that you have to support the MMR vaccine, you have to stop measles, and you have to do it while RESPECTING parents. That’s what the MAHA movement is about! And Klomp spoke in favor of the MMR. Forcefully! He said kids should get the MMR to stop the spread of measles. That’s EXACTLY what I wanted him to say! Because I’m not anti-vaccine. I’ve ALWAYS said I’m not anti-vaccine. I just want them to be SAFE and to be DONE RIGHT. There’s a HUGE difference and the Democrats don’t want you to know that! They want to say, “Oh, Diklis Chump is anti-vaccine.” LIES! TOTAL LIES! I have done more for vaccines — the operation — the greatest operation — people don’t even want to talk about what I did with the vaccine rollout. The BEST rollout in the history of the world. The most people vaccinated in the shortest time. And now these SAME Democrats who took the vaccine I got them are calling me anti-vaccine? DISGRACEFUL!
And by the way — my THIRD nominee also comes with some very interesting financial disclosures. $270,000 in supplement income! And some tobacco holdings! The Democrats are going to make a big deal about this. Let them! Let them try! Because Saphier DISCLOSED everything. She put it all on the table. Transparent! The most transparent administration in HISTORY! You want to talk about supplements? I take supplements! TREMENDOUS supplements! Vitamin D, very important. Zinc. People are saying the supplements are what keep me so healthy and so sharp. My doctors — the best doctors, the ones who gave me that cognitive test, the one I PASSED, the hardest test — they said my supplement regimen is the BEST they’ve ever seen. And Saphier knows about supplements because she’s a DOCTOR! She’s not hiding anything! The Democrats hide EVERYTHING — their donors, their financial connections, their little deals behind closed doors — but when Saphier discloses $270,000, suddenly it’s a scandal? Give me a BREAK!
The bottom line — and this is what every American needs to understand — is that my surgeon general pick is going to be CONFIRMED. It’s going to be BEAUTIFUL. And the hearing today is just the BEGINNING of a whole new era for American health. We’re going to make the surgeon general the GREATEST voice for public health this country has EVER SEEN. Greater than the last guy. Greater than ANYONE. The doctors are coming to me — many doctors, the best doctors — and they’re saying, “Sir, we can’t wait for Dr. Saphier to get confirmed because the last twenty months have been a COMPLETE DISASTER without a surgeon general.” And they’re RIGHT! The country needs a surgeon general and I’m going to give them the BEST one!
The third time around isn’t just the charm — it’s the CHECKMATE. I knew it from the beginning. EVERYBODY said, “You’ll never get three nominees through.” And here we are! Three nominees! The strongest bench of surgeon general candidates ANY president has EVER assembled! And it all happened because I don’t give up! I never give up! That’s what makes me different from every other president — I have NEVER given up on the American people, and I’m not going to start now!
The liberal media can cry about it all they want. The Democrats can have their little hearings and their little questions. Cassidy can get emotional about hepatitis B all day long. The BOTTOM LINE is this: Diklis Chump is delivering a surgeon general, a deputy secretary, and an assistant secretary for mental health, and we’re going to make American health GREAT AGAIN! It’s going to be TREMENDOUS! Believe me!
