The Wall Street Journal — and these people have been TERRIBLE to me, absolutely terrible, from the very first day, the WORST coverage you have ever seen in your life — they put out a poll today saying I’m at thirty-seven percent. Thirty-seven! So let me tell you about this poll. It is FAKE. Completely, totally, one hundred percent FAKE. The sample was rigged — more Democrats than Republicans, which has NEVER happened in a legitimate poll, NEVER — and even by their own crooked math, the margin of error is two and a half points, which means the real number could be thirty-nine point five, and that is a TREMENDOUS difference, but they don’t show you that, do they? They show you the thirty-seven and they walk away with their smug little faces. But I have very smart people — the best pollsters, really incredible people — and they tell me the real number is much higher. Fifty. Fifty-five. Some have it even higher. The enthusiasm is THROUGH THE ROOF. The lamestream media can’t measure enthusiasm. They don’t know how. They don’t WANT to know how. They want you to believe it’s over. It’s NOT over. It’s just beginning. I’ve been saying this.
And let me tell you something else while I’m at it — because nobody else will say it — I have done MORE for this country than any president in the history of this nation. MORE. And I say that with great respect for Lincoln, who was a very good president, very good, and Washington too, tremendous respect — but what I have accomplished, the deals, the economy, the jobs, NOBODY has done what I have done. NOBODY. And the FAKE MEDIA — that’s what they are, the FAKE MEDIA — they never give me credit. They take everything I do and they twist it. I could cure cancer tomorrow and they would say, “Diklis Chump cured cancer but he did it wrong and also he’s a racist.” That is EXACTLY what they do. They are SICK people. Very sick.
Now these candidates who are supposedly “breaking” with me — Rogers, Hinson, the others — let me set the record straight because the FAKE NEWS won’t. They’re not breaking with me. You CAN’T break with me. I’m RIGHT. I’ve been saying for MONTHS that we need to bring prices down, that we need to end the war, that gas is too high. MONTHS. I was the FIRST. I said it BEFORE any of them. And now they’re out there repeating what I said, and the media tries to make it look like opposition? It’s not opposition. It’s COPYING. They’re copying me because I’m RIGHT and they know it. Every one of those candidates called me — they CALLED me — and they said, “Sir, what should we do?” And I said, “Win. Just WIN.” Because I’m a winner and I want my people to win. That’s what winners do. You don’t break with a winner. You can’t break with gravity. Gravity is real and I’m right about everything, and the radical left media can’t handle that.
Speaking of things the media can’t handle — the dinner I hosted for President Xi at the White House. BEAUTIFUL dinner. The most beautiful state dinner in the history of the White House. I picked the menu myself because the usual people, they don’t have the TASTE. They don’t have the vision. I have vision. Tremendous vision. The flowers were incredible, the food was perfect, Xi himself — and I’m telling you exactly what he said — he looked at me and said, “This is the most incredible dinner I have ever attended.” Direct quote. To me. At the White House. And the Chinese flags on the building? That’s called DIPLOMACY. That’s called RESPECT. Every president in history has had flags at state dinners. EVERY one. Lincoln had flags. Washington had flags. But when I do it, suddenly it’s a story. Give me a BREAK. These people are absolutely CRAZY. The levels of double standard — and I’ve seen double standards, believe me, I’ve seen more double standards than any human being in the history of the world — but this one takes the cake.
And the media — the three outlets I banned from the White House this week — they DESERVED it. They lie. They lie every single day. Every morning they wake up and say, “How can we destroy Diklis Chump today?” And I said, enough. NOT in my house. Not anymore. And now the other networks, in “solidarity” — very beautiful word, sounds very important — they’re limiting their coverage of my events. All of them. Together. At the same time. You know what that’s called? That’s called a CONSPIRACY. It’s the biggest conspiracy since Watergate, and Watergate was NOTHING. Watergate was a burglary. This is the entire media INDUSTRY deciding to take down a sitting president. It’s ENORMOUS. It makes Watergate look like a jaywalking ticket. And I’ve been saying this for YEARS. I was the FIRST person to call it out. FIRST. And everybody laughed. Well, who’s laughing now? Nobody. Because it’s not funny. It’s DANGEROUS.
Now — the midterms. Let me talk about the midterms because this is VERY important and the FAKE MEDIA won’t cover it. We are going to WIN. We are going to WIN BIG. I was with a very successful friend this week — billionaire, tremendous businessman, been in politics for fifty years — and he said to me, “Sir, the enthusiasm is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.” He said that. To me. And he meant it. You could see it in his eyes. He said, “Sir, you are going to WIN.” And I said, “I know.” Because I do know. I’ve ALWAYS known. The polls said I couldn’t win in 2016. WRONG. They said I couldn’t come back in 2024. WRONG. Every single time, the so-called experts, the pundits, the FAKE analysts — they’ve been WRONG about me. Every. Single. Time. And they’re wrong now. Five weeks. FIVE WEEKS. And we WIN. And when we win, every single one of those candidates who is out there saying what they’re saying? They’re going to come back. They’re going to call me. They’re going to say, “Sir, thank you. THANK YOU.” Because that’s what happens. I win, and then everybody wants to be on my team again. EVERYBODY.
You know, we had a rally last week — HUGE crowd, the biggest crowd in the HISTORY of that city, not even close, I mean we’re talking double what Obama drew, double — and you had people crying. You had big tough guys, the TOUGHEST guys, grown men, coming up to me with tears streaming down their faces, saying, “Sir, Sir, we will NEVER leave you, we LOVE you.” And I said, “I know. I love you too.” Because I DO love them. I love the people. The people are EVERYTHING. But here’s the thing — and this is what the fake poll can’t capture, it CAN’T — the love at those rallies, it’s REAL. It’s the most real thing in American politics. More real than any poll, any number, any FAKE headline from the Wall Street Journal. Those people show up, they spend their money, they drive for hours, some of them drive ALL DAY — I mean, these are working people, hardworking people, and they spend their last — they spend a LOT of money to come see me, and the least I can do is — anyway. The crowds are TREMENDOUS. That’s the point. The crowds are TREMENDOUS and the FAKE NEWS can’t explain it. They CANNOT explain it. Because they don’t understand the MOVEMENT. They never have.
And now they’re spending — get this — they are spending TWO HUNDRED MILLION DOLLARS in Texas. TEXAS. A state I won by FOURTEEN POINTS. Fourteen! And they need two hundred million just to stay alive there? You know why? Because the Democrats have NOTHING. Zero. Zilch. Their entire campaign is “we don’t like Diklis Chump.” That’s it. That’s the whole thing. Very creative. Very inspiring. Meanwhile I’ve got the greatest record — and I do, regardless of what the FAKE polls say — the greatest record of any president, and they can’t run against that, so they just spend money. Tremendous amounts of money. But you can’t buy an election. Well, maybe you can when you’ve got big tech and the radical left and the lamestream media all working together — which they ARE, they absolutely, one hundred percent are — but you can’t buy the HEART of the American people. And the American people’s heart is with ME. It has always been with me. It will ALWAYS be with me. Because I am the only one fighting for them. The ONLY one. And they know it. Everyone knows it. Even the Wall Street Journal knows it. They just won’t print it.
