They had another debate up in Maine, the fourth one, final one, beautiful ratings I’m sure, and you know what the whole thing was about? ME. That’s right. Low-energy Troy Jackson — nobody ever heard of him until this year, nobody — and SLEEPY SUSAN Collins, who is not so sleepy when it’s time to take the CREDIT, stood up there for two hours and talked about Diklis… about ME the entire night. It’s actually very flattering. I have them both trained.
Jackson says Susan votes with me 95% of the time. NINETY-FIVE PERCENT! Folks, that is the BEST number in the history of the United States Senate. Maybe in the history of numbers. I said it a long time ago, before anybody, long before these fake debate moderators, that Susan Collins was with us. I ALWAYS said it. People came up to me, big tough people, tears in their eyes, they said “Sir, how did you know?” I said I know everything, I have the best instincts, the doctors told me, and here it is — 95%! Nobody has ever had 95%. Obama never had 95%. Lincoln didn’t have 95%, and Lincoln had a lot of things, believe me.
So what does she do? She comes out with a STUDY. A study! 72%. And I’ll tell you what — even 72% would be the most any so-called “independent” senator has ever delivered to a president of the United States. She is not independent, folks. She’s OURS. She just doesn’t want the fake news writing it down. And where did this study come from? The radical left, probably. Nobody knows. Very low ratings on that study, nobody’s talking about it, everyone is saying the 95 is the real number, and if they’d let me take a look at it with my Sharpie I could fix the whole thing in about four seconds.
She says she’s “not exactly his favorite senator.” Not exactly! You see how that works? That’s like a woman saying you’re not exactly the worst-looking guy at the dance — that’s a YES, folks. That is a tremendous, beautiful yes. People are telling me, very smart people, the smartest, that the real reason she distances herself in Maine is that Maine is a RADICAL LEFT state now, very sad what’s happened to it, and the only way a Republican survives there is to pretend she barely knows me. Well I know her. I know her very well. We have a deal. She votes with me, and I let her pretend she doesn’t. That’s called negotiation. Art of the deal. Look it up — it’s a book, number one bestseller, everyone says so.
The road salt. Let’s talk about the road salt, because this is where Jackson really showed he’s a LOW IQ person. I exempted pulp, I exempted concrete, I exempted road salt from the Canada tariffs — ME, nobody else, I did that, you’re welcome — and this guy gets up there and says “We can’t eat road salt.” Very smart, Troy. Nobody eats road salt. But you know what you DO eat? Lobster. The biggest lobsters, from Maine, the beautiful Maine lobsters, and they are selling better than ever because of my tariffs, because when you tax the bad guys, the good guys win. I saw one of our own papers, our wonderful publication, writing that the loggers and the fishers up there are absorbing rising costs. SAD! Those are great people, hardworking people, the kind of people who love me, and they should be calling ME, not complaining to the fake news. We are WINNING the trade war with Canada. Winning so much you get tired of winning. The costs are going to come down so fast, maybe below zero, and if they don’t come down, that’s the fault of the state legislature, and also the Democrats, but also — in a good way — me.
On the war with Iran, which is going tremendously, by the way, our military has never been stronger, I rebuilt it all, and Jackson gets up there and says the war is driving fuel prices. WRONG. I have the war totally under control, it’s going to end very soon, the best ending, like the end of a movie, a very beautiful movie, and fuel prices are going to come down to levels this country hasn’t seen since before Carter. Maybe before anybody. If they don’t come down, that’s Susan’s fault, and the state’s fault, and probably Crooked Hillary’s fault, I don’t know, we’re looking at it.
Then Susan gets cute. She brags about confirming Sotomayor and Kagan and the other one, Katanji, very nice woman, very nice — folks, that’s not a BRAG, that’s a CONFESSION! You’re telling a Maine audience you voted for THREE radical left justices? That’s like telling the judge you also robbed the other bank. SAD! Meanwhile I put THREE justices on the Court and we got the abortion decision, the biggest decision, and she acts like that wasn’t her. She was there! She was with us! Ask her about Kavanaugh — she’ll tell you she was the deciding vote, the most important vote, and then she’ll tell you she barely knows me, in the same sentence, in the same DEBATE.
And the protester! This young man runs in shouting about the AI data centers — we love the AI data centers, I approved more of them than any president, they’re the biggest, the computers are incredible — and Susan looks at him and says, right away, quick as anything, “That’s one of Troy’s supporters.” Now the fake news got all upset about that. But I liked it. That’s INSTINCT. That’s a woman who knows the RADICAL LEFT when she sees one. Troy says he didn’t know the kid. Of course he didn’t know the kid. Nobody knows these kids. They show up, they shout, the papers write it up, and then they go home to their parents’ basement, tremendous basement, very high ceilings.
And she picked potatoes in Caribou. First job, picking potatoes. Tremendous woman. I love potatoes. Everyone knows I love the fries — perfect physical specimen, by the way, the doctors said they’ve never seen anything like it — and I respect a potato picker. I do. But here’s the thing, and this is the whole ballgame: she looked down on those people and she doesn’t even know it. She votes 95% with me and calls it independence. She brings home $1.5 billion and calls it bipartisan. She takes my road salt, my pulp, my concrete, and she calls me “not exactly” her favorite senator. You know what that is, folks? That’s a woman who has the DEAL OF A LIFETIME and is embarrassed to admit it.
So Maine gets a choice. They can have Jackson, low energy, no money raised, nobody heard of him, or they can have Susan — who, whether she says it or not, votes with me 95% of the time, which makes her, statistically, the most reliable senator in America. The most reliable! I always said it. I said it first. And the fake 72% study only proves it, because even THEIR number is a number nobody has ever seen before.
You’re welcome, Susan. I’ll take the thank-you in the form of a vote.
