The Claude maker could unveil IPO financial disclosures within weeks
Anthropic is likely to tell investors that its total addressable market exceeds $30 trillion, according to people familiar with the matter.
The estimate would top SpaceX’s $28.5 trillion estimate before the rocket company’s record-breaking IPO. The comparison concerns each company’s potential market, not the value of its shares.
Total addressable market is an estimate of the annual revenue a company could theoretically capture if it reached 100% market share.
Anthropic, the maker of the Claude artificial-intelligence system, is expected to unveil its IPO financial-disclosure documents in the next few weeks, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The disclosure is expected to set up the company to go public as soon as September. The report described that timing as a possibility rather than a completed public offering.
