Evers-backed Crowley faces Hong in Tuesday’s vote
In New Glarus, Wisconsin, Miller said she is voting for Crowley. Miller, a software engineer from Madison, said she has heard discussion about conflict between different wings of the Democratic Party but that winning is her concern.
Crowley is the Milwaukee County executive and has Evers’ endorsement. Hong is his opponent in the gubernatorial primary.
The Wisconsin contest follows a Michigan Democratic Senate primary in which Abdul El-Sayed narrowly defeated Rep. Haley Stevens.
The Michigan result sets up a November contest in a key battleground state, according to the Associated Press.
Minnesota voters are also scheduled to decide a U.S. Senate contest on Tuesday. That race features a centrist and a progressive, according to the report.
