The Kheibar Shekan is a medium-range ballistic missile capable of flying up to 900 miles, placing the entire Middle East and beyond within its range, the Wall Street Journal reported July 31. The missile has become the workhorse of Iran’s arsenal during the war with the United States, serving as a central weapon in the country’s strike capability.
U.S. officials told the Journal that Iran’s attacks using the Kheibar Shekan are growing more complex, and that the increasing complexity is making the missile more dangerous for American troops. The weapon is creating problems for Iran’s adversaries, the Journal reported.
