One SSRS poll for several news outlets, including the Associated Press
NPR published charts on Nov. 4, 2026 showing how various demographic groups voted in the U.S. midterm elections, in a report by Julianna Conley titled “Here’s how some key demographic groups voted in the midterms.” Each figure in the charts presents the share of voters who said they voted for a House candidate of each party, separated by demographic group.
The data behind the charts comes from a poll of tens of thousands of voters, conducted by the firm SSRS for a number of news outlets, including the Associated Press. NPR reported that the full sample has a margin of error of plus or minus 0.6 percentage points.
